Levita collaborates with Dior for the reopening of 30 Montaigne in Paris!

When they created their company Levita in 2018, the two magicians from Liège, Philippe Bougard and Clément Kerstenne, had no idea that they would one day have the opportunity to collaborate with the House of Dior. But now they have: Levita has contributed its technological expertise/its technology to create 4 window displays for the reopening of Dior's iconic address - 30 Montaigne - located on one of the French capital's most emblematic luxury avenues. Dior's exceptional bags, perfumes and even jewelry pieces seem to float in the air in the windows of this historic boutique.

An XXL project for the Liège-based start-up

After installing its magical showcases around the world for various luxury watch brands, Levita won the prestigious Luxury Innovation Awards competition in October 2021 in Geneva and collaborated with the famous auction house Sotheby's.

The magicians from Liège have no intention of stopping there, and are keen to develop other models of levitating display cases. In fact, they have created two types of display cases of different sizes within their Gravity Display range. Now, Philippe Bougard and Clément Kerstenne want to offer XXL-sized levitating display cases for luxury stores and museums.

The young start-up saw this crazy idea come to fruition when it was approached for a large-scale project by Dior, a famous brand in the LVMH group. Dior wanted to integrate the technology developed by Levita for the reopening of 30 Montaigne, scheduled for March 6, 2022.

Let's go back a few months...

In July 2021, Levita was selected as a finalist in the LVMH Innovation Award startup competition at the Vivatech trade show. LVMH then offered him a place in the La Maison des Startups acceleration program, with the aim of giving him visibility within the group. Levita then set up its Gravity Display at Lab LVMH, the showroom located in the LVMH offices in Paris, helping to accelerate the adoption of innovative solutions within the Houses.

In September 2021, the Dior Visual Merchandising team talks to the Levi-Team about a top-secret project: the reopening of 30 Montaigne, its iconic address, reinvented after more than two years of renovation.

After months of hard work, the challenge has been successfully met! 30 Montaigne will open its doors on Sunday, March 6, 2022, and will feature 4 magical showcases in which the emblematic creations of the House of Dior seem to float.
