Art in the front seat

For Parcours d’Artisans, Levita created a unique installation within the Palais des Princes-Évêques in Liège, bringing together contemporary craftsmanship and historic architecture.

Six levitation tubes, featuring a brand-new brushed aluminium finish, were installed throughout the venue. Their raw, industrial character was deliberately contrasted with the refined interiors and rich architectural heritage of this magnificent building, dating from the 16th to the 18th centuries.

Each installation showcased a unique artwork, with six works by six different artists brought into focus through levitation. Suspended in space, the pieces appeared to float effortlessly, creating a striking visual dialogue between the artworks, the architecture and the surrounding space.

A project where raw materials, craftsmanship and Levita’s signature magic come together to create an unexpected experience within one of Liège’s most iconic historic settings.
